These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all Skill-Wanderer websites, platforms, and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Skill-Wanderer ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services Covered

These Terms apply to all properties under the skill-wanderer.com domain, including every subdomain, whether listed here or introduced in the future:

• skill-wanderer.com — Main website, information, and contact
• dojo.skill-wanderer.com — The Dojo, our learning platform where you can create an account, sign in via Keycloak, and access educational courses and learning management features
• wandersings.skill-wanderer.com — Wandersings, our blog and community space where readers may engage with content and comments (may use Firebase for authentication and content storage)
• Any other current or future subdomains we operate under skill-wanderer.com

Each subdomain may use different backend technologies, frameworks, and third-party services. For example, one subdomain may use Keycloak for authentication while another may use Firebase. These Terms apply uniformly regardless of the underlying technology. Where specific subdomains have additional terms or conditions, those will be clearly indicated on the relevant service.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using any of our Services on any subdomain, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

Creating an account on any subdomain (such as the Dojo), posting comments or content on any community feature (such as Wandersings), submitting any form, or signing in through any identity provider constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Our Mission and Services

Skill-Wanderer is dedicated to making quality technology education accessible to everyone. We provide:

• Educational content and courses through the Dojo learning platform (dojo.skill-wanderer.com)
• Articles, guides, and community discussions through Wandersings (wandersings.skill-wanderer.com)
• Technology consulting and development services
• Open-source educational materials and tools
• Additional services and tools as we introduce new subdomains in the future

Our commitment is to reinvest all resources back into our global educational mission, maintaining complete integrity in our recommendations and guidance.

Account Services

Some subdomains require or offer user accounts to access their features. Each subdomain may use a different identity and authentication provider:

• The Dojo (dojo.skill-wanderer.com): Accounts are managed through our self-hosted Keycloak identity service. An account is required to access course content, track learning progress, and earn certificates.
• Wandersings (wandersings.skill-wanderer.com): If interactive features (such as commenting) require authentication, accounts may be managed through Firebase Authentication or another provider.
• Future subdomains: New services may use Keycloak, Firebase, or other identity providers as appropriate for their purpose.

Regardless of which subdomain or identity provider is used, the following responsibilities apply to all accounts:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us

Account data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where self-hosted solutions (like Keycloak) are used, your credentials never leave our infrastructure.

Community Features

Some subdomains offer community and interactive features — such as comments, discussions, or user-submitted content. Currently, Wandersings (wandersings.skill-wanderer.com) provides commenting features, and future subdomains may offer similar or additional community functionality.

When using any community feature on any subdomain, you agree to:

• Post only content that is accurate, respectful, and relevant
• Not post harmful, offensive, defamatory, threatening, or illegal content
• Not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Not spam, self-promote excessively, or post commercial solicitations
• Not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Not use automated tools or bots to post content or interact with community features
• Respect other community members and contribute to a positive, constructive environment

We reserve the right to remove any community content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination on the affected subdomain.

Community features may be powered by different backend services depending on the subdomain (e.g., Firebase on Wandersings). By engaging with these features, you acknowledge that your submitted content will be stored and processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

User Responsibilities

When using any of our Services on any subdomain, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when requested
• Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Respect the intellectual property rights of Skill-Wanderer and third parties
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers or networks connected to the Services
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Services, including other users' accounts, backend systems, databases, or administrative interfaces
• Not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any subdomain or its associated infrastructure without our explicit written permission
• Not use the Services to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Not scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Services beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt or explicit authorisation
• Respect other users and maintain a positive learning environment across all subdomains

Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality — across all subdomains — are and will remain the exclusive property of Skill-Wanderer and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Open Source Commitment

In alignment with our mission, much of our educational content and tools are made available under open-source licenses. When content is open-source, the specific license terms will be clearly indicated. Open-source licensing on one subdomain does not automatically apply to content on other subdomains.

User-Generated Content

If you submit content to any of our Services (such as through forms, comments, discussions, or communications on any subdomain), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content for the purpose of providing and improving our Services. You retain ownership of your original content.

Course and Educational Content

Course materials, assessments, and educational content provided through the Dojo are the intellectual property of Skill-Wanderer unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit course content without our written permission, except as permitted by any applicable open-source licence.

Educational Services

Our educational content is provided for informational and learning purposes. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:

• We make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any content
• Educational outcomes may vary based on individual effort and circumstances
• Certificates or completion records issued through the Dojo reflect participation, not accreditation by any external body
• We encourage learners to supplement our resources with additional learning materials
• Technology is constantly evolving, and some content may become outdated over time

Work With Us Services

When providing technology consulting or development services:

• Specific terms will be outlined in separate service agreements
• All work will be performed with professional standards and best practices
• Deliverables and timelines will be clearly defined in project agreements
• All revenue generated will be reinvested into our educational mission

Our Integrity Commitment

As part of our core principles, Skill-Wanderer maintains complete independence in our recommendations across all subdomains:

• We do not accept affiliate commissions from any third-party resources we recommend
• We do not accept payment for sponsored content or product placement on any subdomain
• Our recommendations are based solely on our assessment of educational value

The specific cookies and storage used depend on the technology powering each subdomain (e.g., Keycloak session cookies on the Dojo, Firebase localStorage on Wandersings). Our cookie practices are fully described in our Cookie Policy, which is also incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Service Availability

Different subdomains may have different availability characteristics. We strive to keep all services accessible, but:

• Individual subdomains may be taken offline for maintenance, upgrades, or migration to new backend technologies
• We may add, modify, or retire subdomains as the platform evolves
• Features on a specific subdomain may change as we improve the service or adopt new technologies
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or extended downtime

Disclaimers

The Services — across all subdomains — are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Skill-Wanderer makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the Services or any content on any subdomain
• The uninterrupted or error-free operation of any subdomain
• The results that may be obtained from the use of the Services
• The suitability of the Services for any particular purpose
• The security of third-party services integrated into our subdomains (such as Firebase or YouTube)

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skill-Wanderer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Services on any subdomain
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Services
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or similar that may be transmitted by any third party
• Any issues arising from third-party services integrated into our platform (such as Firebase, Keycloak, or YouTube)

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time — for example, when we add new subdomains, introduce new features, or adopt new backend services. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days advance notice before any new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services on any subdomain after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to any or all of our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Termination may apply to a single subdomain or all Services.

Upon termination, your right to use the affected Services will cease immediately. Where applicable, you may request export of your data before termination in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Skill-Wanderer operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. These Terms apply uniformly to all subdomains under skill-wanderer.com.
